NETWORKING SESSION FOR EC PROJECTS IN CH

Date: 6 March 2017

Venue: Department of Information Engineering, Via Gradenigo 6/A, Padova (Italy)

OVERVIEW

The European network of projects in the cultural heritage sector was established in the framework of the RICHES project with the aim of:

Reflecting on the impact that cultural heritage projects are delivering, in order to identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness of their results.

Sharing knowledge about targeted communities, in order to discover similarities in approaches, gaps and omissions to be served jointly, framework conditions that help to determine  the success or otherwise of project outcomes.

Identifying synergies and the potential for collaboration among projects.

The idea is to establish a periodic concertation event, where projects can meet, discuss, exchange ideas and concretely plan joint activities/projects, and where new projects can join the network.

The fourth networking session for EC projects, organised in cooperation with the Department of Information Engineering of the University of Padua, aims to make a plan and to define joint recommendations to be plugged into the programme of the European Year of Cultural Heritage in 2018.

The event is co-located with the Innovation Workshop which will be organised on 7 March 2017 by the PREFORMA project.
