AEDEKA Srl is an SME based in Pisa (Italy). AEDEKA competitive advantage is the capacity to provide added value services to the cultural, touristic and educational markets. Its core competences are communication, business and marketing skills, innovation and technological expertise, and a strong experience on managing European projects.

AEDEKA reaches its objectives thanks to a multidisciplinary team with know-how on three main complementary fields: humanities & education, business & marketing, informatics & innovation. AEDEKA services include technical development of ICT platforms and web-design, multimedia production, marketing strategy, communication campaigns, events and exhibitions production, electronic and web publishing and corporate consulting.

AEDEKA is a spin-off of Promoter Srl, an SME with solid and longstanding experience in the management of EU projects, with particular regard to networking and communication activities, having been involved in many initiatives since the early 1990s. Prestigious Culture and Research Institutes as well as private enterprises in Europe and worldwide have engaged the company as technical coordinator and consultant to assist their projects to improve innovation.

ROLE IN THE PROJECT

AEDEKA will provide the Innovation Manager, to take care of the aspects related to the sustainability and exploitation of the project’s outcomes in sight of the prosecution of the activities after the end of the funding period.

KEY PERSONS

Claudio Prandoni. Project Manager. University Degree in Mathematics at the University of Padua. Master in Applied Mathematics. He had been involved in several projects funded by the European Commission, in the domain of ICT research and ICT innovation, especially targeted to the tourism and cultural heritage sectors. Technical Leader of CASPAR (FP7, IP) and HarmoSearch (FP7, Research for the benefit of SMEs), Technical Coordinator of EAGLE (CIP, BPN), assistant to the Technical Coordinator of Linked Heritage (CIP, BPN) and DCH-RP (FP, CSA). Communication Coordinator of RICHES (FP7 SSH) and HOLA CLOUD (H2020 CSA). Employed by Promoter since 2011, he founded the spin-off company AEDEKA at the beginning of 2017, where he is Managing Director. His main skills regard project management, applications security, standards and interoperability protocols, digital right management and IPR protection, ontology management, digital preservation, software design, database management, web-oriented and object-oriented programming and Web Services development. Claudio Prandoni has the role of the Innovation Manager in PREFORMA.

Mercè López Fort. Business Development Manager. Degree in Art History (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain), Degree in Archaeology (Université de Toulouse, France), Master in Museology and Cultural Heritage Management (Universitat de Barcelona, Spain) and Executive MBA, Master in Business Administration (ESIC Business & Marketing School, Spain). She has developed her professional career in the cultural sector for more than 10 years, working for museums, archives, libraries, art companies, the Catalan government and the i2CAT Foundation. Consultant and project manager in the framework of cultural projects since 2002, offering services to the main cultural institutions in Barcelona (MNAC, MACBA, MAC, Direcció General del Patrimoni Cultural - Catalan cultural ministry-). The services provided ranged from cultural strategic plans to exhibitions coordination, art collections management, tourism and educational services and digital cultural projects management. She has a strong expertise in Digital Cultural Heritage and Management. Her professional experience in that field started in 1999 with the digitisation of museum collections. From 2010 to May 2014 she has been Head of Projects for the Cultural and Tourism sectors at the i2CAT Foundation, Internet and Digital Innovation (Barcelona, Spain). As Project Coordinator and Business Development Manager she has been involved in several European Projects where cultural heritage meets technology, as well as developed commercial products and services. Management skills, proactive and passionate for Culture, Heritage, Innovation and Technology.
